A restored version had its world “premire” on the opening day of the Cannes International Film Festival, on Tuesday 13. The copy is perfect. And then, on June 26, 2025, exact date of the centenary, a new restoration in 4K was projected in cinemas. Its exclusive premiere in the United States took place at the iconic Egyptian theater in Hollywood (previously the Egyptian theater of Grauman), where The gold chimera It had its original world premiere a century earlier.
