Corrientes goes to the polls this Sunday to choose governor and vice governor, five provincial senators and three substitutes, in addition to 15 provincial deputies and eight alternates.

At the same time, 73 municipalities in the province will decide their mayors and councilors.

Corrientes is one of the ten provinces that this year chose to unfold their local elections of the national elections and is one of the two (the other is Santiago del Estero) that votes executive charges for being undefeated from the electoral calendar product of successive federal interventions.

To win the Government, you have to obtain more than 45% of the valid affirmative votes, or reach at least 40% with a difference greater than 10% compared to the second most voted list. If no formula achieves these percentages, there will be a ballot between the two formulas with the greatest number of votes, scheduled for Sunday, September 21.
