Understanding Temperature Intervals

A temperature interval (or temperature difference) represents a change in temperature, not a specific temperature point. For example, if a substance heats up from 10°C to 20°C, the temperature interval is 10°C.

Converting temperature intervals is different from converting specific temperatures. For intervals, the zero points of the scales are irrelevant, and only the relative size of the degrees matters.
